For Starclan's sake, don't be crude. This is a PG-13 (for mild violence) rated board, and I'd like to keep it that way. 2. Before you can RP you MUST POST A BIO!! Then, the leader of your clan (or me, Oakstar) must look at it and post something like, "OOC: You're In!" before you can do anything. I mean it. Additionally, I only allow cats. No dogs or birds, sorry. Make sure to check the info box at the top of each page to make sure the clan you want to join isn't locked. 3. Don't ask to be a leader deputy or medicine cat when there already is one, please. If you think they should be replaced, PM me about it. And don't put it in your bio. 4. No shortenings like "U R KEWL". It's TACKY! Also, I've had to add this because it has become a nagging annoyance. Please don't have super big signatures!! If I think they're too big, I'll simply add some width/height codes to it (which doesn't change the original) and resize it. However, if your signature is so wide that it actually resizes my browser window then I will PM you and complain. 5. This site is not safe! That means: do not give our your real email address, your real name, or your exact location (aka, no addresses). And posting pictures of yourself is completely prohibited. I'll delete and ban you for such a colossally foolish stunt. 6. RP well. Use the edit button if you messed up, and PLEASE don't double or triple post if you can help it. Bumping is okay, but please only do it once DAILY. 7. Yes, you can have kits, although there are rules: I. Apprentices, elders, kits, female leaders, deputies and medicine cats cannot have kits. Yes, the only remaining clan cats that can have kits (besides queens, who already have them) are warriors. II. Find another Warrior willing to share the kits with you, must be of opposite sex, both cats must be in the same clan. III. When a board shows that the cats like each other enough to have kits (NO GRAPHIC DETAILS), and the male has agreed, the female may ask Starclan for kits. IV. I will post [OOC- A litter of #!] on the thread, and the leader of the kits' clan should post a ceremony for it. Remember: their coats should be a combination of their parents'. 8. Through much debate with my other personalities, I've raised the maximum level of characters by two. Normal Warriors can have FIVE characters, and clan leaders can have SEVEN. This does not include dead characters. 9. No References to literary Warriors. If you have the same name as a new Erin Hunter character that's okay, but don't use them on purpose. AKA you cannot play Firestar's long-lost son or Scourge's sister. NO. Bad. 10. Always ALWAYS uphold the warrior code! I also ask that you put a special code word in your sign-up bio to show you have read the rules, and you can find it by reading the warrior code, in the "Info and Warrior Code" board. 11. No Powerplay. Do not RP as others' characters in order to cleanly win a fight or other dispute. Starclan or I are the only ones who can kill anybody off without permission, with the exception of that person themself. 12. NO PLAGIARISM!!!!! If I see any of this I will either give you a dire warning or simply delete you. You want to know my definition of plagiarism? Here it is: The taking of another's work without permission and posting it without proper citation. Plagiarizers will find no haven here. Don't get me wrong, I get a kick out of seeing my ideas used elsewhere. But if you use my written stuff word for word, please quote me, the same as if you base a large amount of your rules, etc on mine. Do not take my inages without my permission, and don't call my work yours. 13. I've had to add this rule recently because of recent *ahem* complications with Proboards. You cannot RP here if your profile says that you are under 13! It clearly states in the registration rules laid out by Proboards that you must be 13 or over if you join. This is for your own safety! (PM me if you have questions) 14. Do not post advertisements to your site on the help board if you do not want to join the site. In fact, if you post advertisements anywhere other than the advertisement board I will ban you for a month or more. It ticks me off and really, really does not support your site. Remember to read the warrior code and the other rules. They're there for a reason!! I reserve the right to edit these rules whenever I feel the need. Thats why i joined. Where and how do you get a cat, do you like draw them or take pictures? Second, how do you join a clan, and can you still have kits and stuff if you' re not in a clan(if you're a kittypet/rouge)? On this RPG you have to post a biography for your cat. If you're wondering about pictures you can get any cat picture you like, as long as it is a cat. If you choose to take a picture of your own that's awesome, but if you take one fromthe web remember that some cat photographers like people to ask before they use their pictures. If you want to draw your cat then you will recieve a lot of support, we love artists of all types here! You can pick any clan you want! You can be in any of the five clans (I'd prefer not Earthclan as we have way more than the others and I like to keep them balanced as much as possible), or you can be a rogue, or you can be a kittypet. You'll find that you 'll have the most available people to role-play with you if you're a clan cat or rogue... the poor kittypets just sit there, mostly. Once you've gotten used to role-playing here, then of course your cat can choose a mate (preferably during the spring or summer... it's a bit late this year) and have kits. If you've just joined, then you should focus on deciding what clan your cat will be in and what they look like, then posting a biography on the signup board. It's difficult, I know. To post a bio you need to have read the biography rules on the signup board, and have a clean, respectable bio for me or another leader to look at. But don't give up! Posting a bio is the hardest thing on this site, after that you are fine. I make bios hard so that people really have to think hard about joining.
